CHALLENGE 2009 – CYCLING FOR A CHARITABLE CAUSE
“It’s 12.37pm and we’ve got some sad news. Dan has torn a cruciate ligament so has had to retire from the ride on doctor’s orders, having reached 597km. This is particularly upsetting as it is the first ride that Dan has not been able to complete in over 20 years.
Simon and myself are carrying on and hope to reach Edinburgh by 2pm today.”
